Bead Stringing Wire for Begginers

While looking ion the internet for things to do with younger ladies and teenage girls, I came across many beading projects and an idea for a bead exchange party. Not knowing much about beads stringing, I continued my research and asked around. I was told to start with very basic, beginner projects and that the string you use will be determined by what you are making. The different types of cord or stringing wire are: coated wire, nylon, jewelry thread (monofilament), nymo, silamide, and silk. Most come in a variety of colors and strength and sizes. For the projects we are doing, jewelry thread will do the trick.

In a bead exchange party, you invite people over that already own beads or want to buy and bring jewelry beads and you all make jewelry with the combined beads from everyone. As part of my research I found cheap beads online, but they were still quality, cut beads. Before I get too carried away and invite friends and family, a few bracelets and earrings will be great projects for me.
